Tour Details

On Ray Davies' 13th birthday in 1957, his older sister bought him his first guitar. Sadly, she would not live long enough to see the impact her present would have on world music. On the 60th year of The Kinks formation, we look forward to taking you on 'The Journey' back to the Davies' home turf; The parks they played in, the houses they lived in, the school they attended and the pub where they first performed in 1960. The tour ends at the Archway Tavern pub, immortalised on the 'Muswell Hillbillies' album cover, just around the corner from Archway tube station. NOTE To include a visit to the famous Clissold Arms pub, your tour should start at or after 10.30am
